What Is The Asset Management System?
How AMS manages Furries PH property and third-party property in its care.

Overview
Asset Management System (AMS) is the Furries PH Workspace for physical property. It covers durable equipment, reusable supplies, consumables, external property accepted into care, physical locations, identity labels, custody, transit, counts, maintenance, and asset economics.
What AMS does not replace
Event Inventory remains the record for event merchandise demand, reservations, claims, point-of-sale, and sellable stock. AMS does not share counts with it implicitly. An event or project can be context, but it never owns an AMS record or bypasses AMS custody controls.
The operating promise
AMS keeps five questions separate: who owns an item, where it is, who is accountable, what condition it is in, and what it is worth under an approved basis. A scan finds a canonical record; it does not itself prove a handoff, return, or count.
Completion check
Before creating a record, confirm that it belongs in AMS rather than Event Inventory, then choose the correct ownership register.
