Before the first record
Create categories and models, locations, external parties, condition values, audit intervals, and agreement templates. Decide which property can be loaned, what labels are accepted, and who may issue, receive, count, approve, and view economics.
End-to-end operator runbook
- Create location structure. Add real sites and the staging, dock, quarantine, and transit locations your team can verify.
- Configure catalogue and condition policy. Use consistent names so search and reports stay reliable.
- Create parties and agreements. Add the lender before accepting a Loaned Asset.
- Review access. Separate operating and approval roles before live use.
- Verify. Create a test record and confirm that its available actions match the intended capability.
[!warning] Do not use a live record as a substitute for missing setup. Correcting ownership or initial location later requires an auditable supervised process.
