Overview

An introduction on the Event Management System (EMS) available in Furries PH.

What is the EMS?

The event management system is developed from TarsierDesk and adapted for local use by Furries PH partners. The EMS allows partners do manage all attendee-facing aspects of the event, from registration (rego), volunteer (vollie) application and management, activity submissions, conbook submissions, staff and volunteer rostering, inventory tracking, point of sales recording, email/communications blasts, and more. The purpose of the EMS is to streamline and simplify the process of managing an event.

Does the EMS touch any funds?

Absolutely not! Any money sent by attendees are sent directly to your added payment accounts per-event. This ensures instant cash flow for organizers and also prevents Furries PH and TarsierDesk from touching any of your finances and prevent issues with late disbursements, witheld funds, and other issues related to having a middleman in finance operations. Furries PH and TarsierDesk does not hold or process any money made by any of your transactions.

Does the EMS support Philippine payment processors?

The EMS supports any payment method that uses the QRPH payments standard and also for plain account number and account name bank transfers with manual confirmation. Currently, the EMS does not support automated rego payment confirmations due to local payment processor limitations. However, Furries PH is able to offer support to build systems for automated rego confirmations if your organization has an existing API connection to a payment processor such as DragonPay, PayMongo, PayPal, Stripe, and more.

Does the EMS work offline?

The EMS allows you to get a snapshot of the online EMS data, export it, and import it into a local EMS server and Android application that can work fully offline, disconnected from the internet, ensuring that connectivity issues cannot disrupt on-the-day (OTD) event operations. The Offline EMS LAN app can also connect to headless devices to scale with event requirements.
