Saved volunteer shift status stays visible

Repository: Rego. Status: Released through the linked GitHub branch; hosted authenticated save remains to verify.

What’s Changed

An event’s vollie application page now keeps the current application and roster visible after a shift status action. Its saved-state check starts a fresh read and ignores an older response that began before the action.

Impact

Volunteers can see their updated shift status without a page refresh or a return to loading cards. The roster still reconciles with the API’s saved result.

Upgrade Notes

No action is needed.

Validation

Local 390 px and 1440 px browser checks held an older roster read and confirmed that “On shift” remained visible after the save. Rego typecheck, staffing continuation checks, and a localhost-configured production build passed; the linked Pages check succeeded. Hosted authenticated save behavior remains to verify.

Rego event availability uses exact grouped counts

Repositories: Partners database migration and Partners API. Status: Released through the linked GitHub branches; broader hosted capacity and attendee checks remain to verify.

What’s Changed

Public Rego event lists and event detail now use one database calculation for active registrations and unredeemed gifts. It returns grouped totals instead of sending individual registrations to the API and is restricted to the platform service. The API also overlaps the optional attendee lookup with its public event read.

Impact

Attendees and organisers should see more accurate remaining-place and tier counts, including for events with more than 1,000 registrations. Registration and gift eligibility still use the current API checks.

Upgrade Notes

No action is needed. Event pages will continue to refresh current availability from the API.

Validation

An isolated local database and Worker fixture matched complete paginated source rows for 2,515 active registrations and 40 active gifts, including detail tier counts and the missing-function failure path. The database migration was published before the API push, and both linked deployment checks succeeded. Hosted public list and detail returned 200. Five read-only samples from one vantage had median response times of 335 ms and 474 ms respectively; broader hosted capacity parity, latency, and attendee journeys remain to verify.

Gift, profile, and finance workspaces open sooner

Repository: Partners. Status: Released through the linked GitHub branch; authenticated production timing remains to verify.

What’s Changed

Gift Review, Dealers Den, registration setup, Person Profiles, and Finance Audit now show their scoped navigation, search, and filters while the first read is in progress. Loaded records and drafts stay visible during later refreshes. When a save response is uncertain, the affected workspaces automatically check the saved state with read-only requests. They do not repeat the write.

Impact

Partners can orient themselves and start safe searches sooner. Actions that depend on current records remain gated until the API confirms them. An ambiguous gift decision or Dealers Den create or delete stays locked when the returned data cannot identify which operator made the change.

Validation

Focused local desktop and mobile browser checks covered held reads, retained drafts, and automatic saved-state checks. Partners typecheck and production build passed. Authenticated hosted timing and full dashboard save certification remain open.

Rego event discovery and saved shifts settle sooner

Repository: Rego. Status: Released through the linked GitHub branch; hosted timing and authenticated shift checks remain to verify.

What’s Changed

The event home page starts checking the live public list while its route loads. Public event links show the published event overview immediately, then update from the current event response. Staffing and vollie shift actions keep the page visible while they read back the saved assignment; a newer read cannot be replaced by an older response.

Impact

Attendees can see event context sooner and continue viewing their assignments after a shift action. Registration access, availability, and saved shift state still come from the API.

Upgrade Notes

No attendee action is needed. A published event overview may appear briefly while current details are checked.

Validation

Rego typecheck, production build, mobile and desktop discovery fixture, and shift-readback race fixture passed locally. Controlled browser timing confirmed one event-list request per home visit, starting before the home heading appeared. Hosted timing and authenticated shift behavior remain to verify.

Core Partner queues and profile setup open sooner

Repository: Partners. Status: Released through the linked GitHub branch; authenticated production timing remains to verify.

What’s Changed

Registration, staff, refund, and enforcement queues now show scoped search and filters while their first reads finish. Personal notifications show navigation and guidance early. First-time profile setup opens its fields immediately and keeps text entered before the saved profile arrives.

Impact

Operators can start finding records sooner, and new members can begin their profile without waiting for a loading screen. Payment, legal, MFA, and record-dependent actions still wait for authoritative data. Uncertain refund, enforcement, and profile saves recheck automatically without repeating the write. Enforcement request and sharing checks use exact server receipts, so another operator’s activity cannot confirm the wrong action.

Validation

Local desktop and mobile browser checks held first reads and exercised draft preservation, concurrent receipts, and uncertain saves. Partners typecheck and production build passed. Authenticated hosted route timing and sitewide save certification remain open.

Rego pages show useful context during initial checks

Repository: Rego. Status: Released through the linked GitHub branch; authenticated hosted timing remains to verify.

What’s Changed

Rego now shows its event identity and opening-page message while the app hydrates. Event registration, merchandise, rego gifting, My Fursonas, transaction details and actions, Dealers Den applications, and volunteer application status show their headings and safe return links during required reads. Merchandise becomes browsable when its event catalog arrives while fee and Shop checks finish. Gift controls and application actions appear only after the current event or owned record is confirmed, and changing events clears an earlier gift draft.

Impact

Attendees can identify and leave these pages sooner instead of waiting on full-page placeholders. Registration choices, gift eligibility, Shop access, prices, ownership, and application actions continue to depend on current authorized API data. A slow check does not expose another event’s details or enable an unverified action.

Upgrade Notes

No attendee action is required. Continue using the page normally; if a required read fails, use its on-page retry where available.

Validation

Rego typecheck and focused local mobile and desktop browser fixtures passed for held first reads across these routes, event changes, gift receiver selection, and pending Shop and fee checks. These synthetic checks do not establish hosted loading time or certify every authenticated registration and payment journey.

Partner settings and planning context appear sooner

Repository: Partners. Status: Released through the linked GitHub branch; authenticated production timing remains to verify.

What’s Changed

Organization settings, Pawsport binding issuance, personal reminder readiness, My Work entry detail, event configuration, and Planning leader routes now show safe scoped context while initial data or permission checks finish. Loaded forms and projections stay visible during background reads.

Impact

Partner and event operators can find the right section and begin safe review sooner. Current record and permission checks still gate actions. Uncertain Pawsport, organization, consultation, and event change-set writes automatically check server state without submitting the action again. Drafts remain available, and actions stay locked when a result cannot be verified.

Validation

Focused local browser checks held initial reads and exercised scope changes, concurrent edits, and uncertain saves. Partners typecheck and production build passed. Authenticated hosted route timing and sitewide save certification remain open.

EPS My Work assignments and calendar spacing

Repository: Partners. Status: Released through the linked GitHub branch; authenticated hosted assignments remain to verify.

What’s Changed

My Work Board and List now use the planning service’s resolved RACI assignments across the partner’s event plans. Responsible and Accountable work remains actionable; Consultant, Informed, and reviewer designations remain visible with their assigned role. The workspace calendar’s month controls now sit close to its heading.

Impact

Assigned event teams can find their work even when a client session lacks the full assignment IDs. Calendar navigation is easier to scan.

Validation

Partners typecheck and production build passed. Local desktop and mobile browser checks covered projected RACI roles, status updates, list and board views, and calendar spacing. Authenticated hosted assignment data remains to verify.

Event forms and account settings open sooner

Repository: Rego. Status: Released through the linked GitHub branch; authenticated hosted timing remains to verify.

What’s Changed

The Event Shop, Dealers Den rego, vollie application and activity proposal pages now show their headings and safe return links while current event and form data loads. Communications and account security show their page context during private reads. Communications keeps newer preference edits visible when an earlier save finishes; successful account security actions refresh status in place.

Impact

Attendees can orient themselves and leave a page without waiting for a full-page loading screen. Cart checkout, application packages, volunteer roles, activity questions and security controls remain gated by the current authorized response. A failed shop catalog read offers an explicit retry.

Validation

Rego typecheck and production build passed locally. Mobile and desktop browser fixtures held event and account reads, checked cart gating and recovery, confirmed form submission and retry behavior, and exercised MFA/passkey continuation. Linked Pages deployment and authenticated hosted timing remain separate checks.

More attendee pages become usable during loading

Repository: Rego. Status: Released through the linked GitHub branch; authenticated hosted timing remains to verify.

What’s Changed

Profile & account, Friends, Pawsports, affiliate rewards, staffing and vollie work now show their headings and safe navigation while account-specific records load. Friends confirms a completed change promptly and refreshes lists in place. Pawsport claim and lost actions resist duplicate submissions and retain the saved view while details sync.

Impact

Attendees can orient themselves and use available links sooner. Private records, readiness, rewards and credentials still wait for the authorized API response. Saving Friends settings and Pawsport details keeps the current page visible.

Validation

Rego typecheck and production build passed locally. Mobile and desktop held-read browser checks covered first paint, Friends save/readback and account switching, Pawsport mutation/readback, staffing shift actions, and affiliate continuity. The linked Pages deployment and authenticated hosted timing are separate checks.
